Blackened Edamame with Mint and Fusion® Roasted Garlic Salt

Ingredients

1 14-oz. package frozen soybeans in pods, thawed
1 tablespoon vegetable or grapeseed oil (or any high smoke point oil)
½ teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
½ teaspoon sesame oil
½ teaspoon Roasted Garlic Salt
Fresh cracked black pepper to taste
¼ cup chopped fresh mint leaves
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Additional Roasted Garlic Salt, for serving

Cooking Directions

  • Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil. Cook soybeans until the pods are charred, stirring occasionally.
  • While soybeans are cooking, in a small bowl combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil and Roasted Garlic Salt. Set aside.
  • When soybeans are charred, remove from heat.
  • Toss the soybeans in the prepared dressing and sprinkle with black pepper. Top with mint, chili flakes and additional Roasted Garlic Salt to taste.
